The percent of reinvestment is the percentage of income from your initial investment invested once more in the trading algorithm.
Funds that are not reinvested remain on your balance. The algorithm does not touch them.
If you want to change the percentage or the size of the deposit, you need to stop the algorithm and turn it on again with new settings.
Let's look at an example:
Your initial balance = 1 BTC. Percent of reinvestment = 50%.
For the first trading day, the algorithm earned 2% or 0.02 BTC. 0.01 BTC remain on your account. the algorithm will not use them in trading any more. You can withdraw them as profits or buy BNB to reduce the commission. Now the algorithm will operate with a sum of 1.01 BTC.
What percentage to choose?
The higher the percentage of reinvestment, the greater your profit. But at the same time, the risk of losing more funds is higher.
Respectively, the lower the percentage, the less you earn. But at the same time, at the time when the algorithm suffers losses, your deposit is at lower risk.
We would say that with a lower percentage of reinvestment, your deposit is more stable and less at risk. But the profit is lower than could be.
To sum up:
If you do not want to risk, set no more than 20%.
If you want to earn more and faster, you can set 100%. But you should understand that in this case, the drawdown of your deposit may be deeper in periods, when the algorithm is trading with losses.
